Full disclosure: I'm a fake photographer.

Well, not exactly. But I definitely wasn't born with a camera in my hands. No photographer parents, no artsy childhood, no dramatic “I always knew” origin story. Before 2012, the only thing I was shooting was... actually, nothing. I was just bored.

Really, really bored.

So I picked up a camera, thinking “how hard can it be?” Turns out, it's the best thing that ever happened to my monotonous life. Photography became my escape hatch, my adventure portal, my “wait, the world is actually pretty cool” discovery tool.

The coolest part? Every single photo is a one-time-only deal. That exact light, that specific smile, that perfect moment? Gone. Never coming back. But somehow, these frozen moments have superpowers – they can make you laugh, cry, swoon, or go “awww” years later.

Forget the likes and shares. I call it a win when someone stares at one of my photos and completely zones out, lost in that moment I captured. That's when I know I've done my job.
